Big Ideas

Well, Gentle Readers, I asked and did receive!  All I can say is WOW.  The spontaneous outpouring of fabulous thoughts you sent in response to my sock class query has been SO inspiring!  Thank you thank you thank you, one and all, for your generous help and thoughtful input.  Reading your suggestions has been such a thought-provoking exercise, and I have some absolutely great ideas for new classes now.  I only hope that you will be able to come to the classes now!  As always, I'll keep you posted as to where and when.

And speaking of where and when, For my February Madrona students:  Thank you so much for your patience as the Blue Moon Folk and I put together this year's knockout kits for you.  We expect to have them mailed before the end of December so you can get started on your knitting.  And remember, if you are unable to attend the class, and want to purchase the kit only, please e-mail me and I will make sure to set aside a kit in your name.  Kits will be available at the retreat marketplace (free and open to the public!) in the Blue Moon booth.  Response has been great, so the limited quantity will likely be snapped up quickly.  Let me set one aside for you!

I'm off to play with knitters this weekend in Redmond, WA.  Lindsay and Campbell agreed that I need to be returned to the wild to be with my own kind.  But only for a while.  As Lindsay put it:  "We don't love you enough to set you free".  Smartass.  No idea where she gets it from.
