Actually, I DO know where they've been

I've been thinking today about all the things our hands do.  Today mine have:

Hemmed a wedding gown

Installed a new motorcycle battery

Tuned Cam's guitar

Petted a Pooch

Now they're typing.  After that they'll knit a while, then cook dinner.  Then they'll fold in prayer, work a knife and fork, and later do the washing up.  They'll smooth the brows I kiss goodnight, turn the knobs on the washer and dryer (again), and then hold a book, at least until the eyes above them fall shut.
